“I felt like in a great new family. I didn’t speak much but I had, I knew I could talk about everything to them. Heroine made us brothers and sisters. We were all equal. I could disclose my inmost thoughts to them. I felt happy as never before. We slept in the same bed. No one even touched me. After all, we were brothers and sisters. Brothers and sisters in heroine.” (Christiane F.)

The world can be good, that’s what they say, that’s what they teach. You need to adjust to the world, and play along its rules. This often happens as well. Yet not everyone can. Not everyone can adjust, not everyone can find any line of communication with the world, the people, oneself. Not everyone’s strength and hope suffice. Some see everything through dark glasses. This is what children from Zoo Bahnhof are like. They desire to flee, they desire proximity and light, which often gives them burns or burns them down. The world can be good. Once you have shot up well.

The production uses strobe lights.
