INFERNO inauguration

07 December 2014

Today, on the fourth day of the festival, plenty of theatre attractions await our audience. We start at noon at The Festival Center with a talk with Jacek Poniedziałek, who gives himself away to Tomasz Szabelka, one of the most original Polish hair stylist and tells about a play that he directed – The Glass Menagerie – presented in our PURGATORIO section. We officially inaugurate INFERNO Competition with Jerzy Zoń’s Chorus of Orphans, shown at 3.30 PM at KTO Theatre. The 3-episodic theatre series, Curse: episodes from the time of despair, by Monika Strzępka and Paweł Demirski, could be seen as a whole starting from 5PM at Łaźnia Nowa Theatre. There’s a Q & A meeting after the performance. At 7.15 PM at The National Stary Theatre on Chamber Stage #Kolonia, there’s a presentation of the festival premiere, Maja Kleczewska’s Rats. We also encourage you to take a closer look at our “laboratory of young talents”, shows presented in PARADISO section – at 5.30 PM at Groteska Theatre – Meblościanka, directed by Błażej Peszek, at 7.00 PM at PWST Theatre – Wyspiański Stage – Transdyptyk, a diploma show by the students of the Dance Department in Bytom, directed by Anna Piotrowska. See you in the theatres!
