We know the programme of this year's edition!

05 November 2015

The titles of all 28 productions and the reasons behind the selections were revealed today by Bartosz Szydłowski, Artistic Director of the Divine Comedy International Theatre Festival, at the press conference held in Bunkier Sztuki.
The most exciting part of the festival is the INFERNO Polish Contest, comprising fourteen productions of the passing season. The winners of Cracow Theatre Prizes are selected by an international jury. The main prize of PLN 50.000 will added to the budget of the theatre which produced the winning performance. Which theatres are taking part in this year's contest? You can find it all out in the Programme section of our website.
'I very much hope that our eighth meeting in Cracow will allow the audience to discover an unknown side to the Polish theatre. Because behind the mainstream hides the voice of the youngest generation of artists, which is not so much rebellious as focused, modest, and very insightful. I encourage everyone to follow carefully this dialogue between the renowned theatre artists and their young colleagues, who are just now establishing their presence in the Polish theatre,' said Bartosz Szydłowski. In the Divine Comedy festival's social media you can find links to news reports concerning the festival.

Right now tickets are still on sale for Special and Accompanying Events (PURGATORIO). The festival will take place from 4 till 13 December 2015.
